Why do so many people hate on Five Finger Death Punch?
People call them a "cookie-cutter band" and that "they don't have an edge." One of my friends even went so far as to call 5FDP NuMetal, which is a genre I don't necessarily hate, but that word carries some negative connotations nowadays. I saw them at Summerfest in Milwaukee, and I think they are nothing more than RAW F*CKING METAL! They have fast, technical riffs, good drums, and Ivan Moody has one of the best voices on the music scene right now, IMO. They really made me move up there. So why the hate? And what makes them a "cookie cutter band"?
I do listen to a lot of music, from country to even some Norwegian Black Metal. I can appreciate musicianship when I hear it.
